The Superhuman Light R1 comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty. If a part fails from a defect under normal commercial use, we fix or replace it and cover the labour. Support starts remotely and moves on site when needed.
What the warranty covers
For two years from installation, the warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including:
- LED arrays and LED driver boards.
- Power supplies and internal electronics.
- The touchscreen and control system.
- Cooling fans.
- Hinges, gas struts and the lid mechanism.
- Labour to diagnose and repair a covered fault.
Full terms are in your written quote and purchase agreement. Those documents take priority over this page.
What it does not cover
- Damage from misuse, accidents, drops or moving the bed without us.
- Damage from the wrong power supply, surges or electrical work that is not to spec.
- Scratches, cracks or clouding of the acrylic from harsh cleaners or impact.
- Repairs or changes by anyone other than us or an approved technician.
- Consumables such as eyewear.
- Overheating caused by a room without the recommended ventilation or AC.
LED lifespan
The R1 has about 36,000 LEDs rated for 50,000+ hours. There are no bulbs to replace, unlike UV tanning beds. At 10 hours of use a day, rated life runs well past a decade. Like all LEDs, output drops slowly over time rather than failing all at once.
Preventive checks
A few minutes of care keeps the bed in service.
| When | Check |
|---|---|
| Between guests | Wipe the acrylic with an approved cleaner |
| Daily | Visual check of LEDs, lid movement and fans |
| Weekly | Clean air intakes, check the usage log for errors |
| Yearly | Service check by our team, remote or on site |
Your half-day training covers each of these. See installation for what happens on install day.
Remote support
Many issues can be solved without a visit. When you contact us, we:
- Ask for the error message, usage log and a short video if useful.
- Walk your staff through checks and settings.
- Book an on-site visit if the fault needs hands on the bed.
Response times
These are targets, not guarantees:
- First response: within one business day.
- Remote diagnosis: usually on the first call.
- On-site visit: scheduled after diagnosis. Timing depends on your location and parts.
Your agreement states any committed service levels.
How to make a claim
- Email or call us with your bed’s serial number, a short description of the fault and when it started.
- Keep the bed out of service if the fault affects safety, such as a lid that will not stay open or a burning smell.
- We diagnose remotely, confirm whether the fault is covered, and book parts and a visit if needed.
Keeping the room within the recommended ventilation or AC range and following the preventive checks helps keep your cover valid.
After the warranty
When the two years end, we keep supporting the bed. Parts and service are billed at the rates in your quote, and remote support stays available.
